Raymond L. Jacobs, 68, of Tiffin, died at 12:37 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2013 at his residence.

Raymond was born on April 13, 1944 in Tiffin, to the late Floyd and Theresa Grace (Miglets) Jacobs. He married Evelyn (Williams) in Conway, S. Carolina on October 27, 1965 and she preceded him in death on December 31, 2011.

Survivors include his children, Sheila (Matthew) Feasel of Tiffin, Don (Tonya) Jacobs also of Tiffin, five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, three sisters, Evelyn Swartz, Margie Johnson both of Tiffin and Ann Renninger of Arizona.

Raymond retired from Basic Refractories and was a member of the Tiffin Moose Lodge. Raymond loved his dogs "Katie and Mollie". He also attended Tiffin Columbian High School. Raymond was a United States Marine Veteran serving during Vietnam.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother David Jacobs.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Tiffin with the Pastor James Martin officiating. There will be no visitation held at this time. Burial will follow the services on Thursday, at Seneca Memory Gardens.
